The Old Inn, Crawfordsburn is a 4 Silver Star AA Rosette awarded boutique hotel in County Down, Northern Ireland.
The Old Inn stands on one of Ireland’s most ancient highways leading from Holywood Priory to the Parent Abbey at Bangor, founded by St. Comgall as a University in 570 AD. The thatched portion of The Old Inn is the most ancient and was formed circa 1600 AD, about the close of the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. Records show the Old Inn to be standing in its present form since 1614.
Diamond were selected in 2015 to provide the routine and reactive maintenance of the complex security and life safety systems within the listed hotel. Diamond were brought on board at the time of the most recent restoration and expansion project, and were able to assist with the installation of additonal fire alarm detection and CCTV coverage to the new Verina Suite.
Adopting a collaborative approach with the team at The Old Inn, Diamond schedule routine CCTV and fire alarm maintenance inspections at convenient times to minimise disruption within the busy hotel.
