Meet the team
Tom founded the company in 1987 and remains involved in the Senior Management of the Company, overseeing major decisions at Board Level. Tom has over 40 years’ experience in the security and life safety industry, and is a former Chairman of industry bodies including the BSIA and FIA.
Joint Managing Director
Angela joined the family business as the Company Accountant in 2008, having previously qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Grant Thornton. Angela became Financial Director in 2010, before taking on the role of Joint Managing Director in 2018. Angela is responsible for Strategy, People, Commercials, Finance and Administration.
Joint Managing Director
Steve joined the family business over 25 years ago, starting out as an apprentice engineer before progressing to the roles of Installation Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, Technical Director, then Joint Managing Director. Steve is responsible for all technical aspects of the business including Products, Partners, Research and Development, and Systems Design.
Administration and Compliance Manager
Julieann joined Diamond in September 2001 and has been working in the security and life safety industry for over 25 years. At Diamond, Julieann manages the Administration and Accounts Department and has responsibility for environmental, health and safety, and ISO 9001 compliance.
Ian joined Diamond as an experienced security and life safety systems engineer in January 2001. Ian became a Senior Project Engineer in 2004, and progressed to Installation Manager in 2007, before being promoted to Engineering Manager in 2010. Ian is responsible for managing the Engineering Department.
Zara joined Diamond in 2018 and manages the company’s 24-hour Helpdesk. Zara also provides administrative support to the office and engineering team. Zara has over ten years’ administrative experience.
Michael joined Diamond in 2018, with over 30 years’ experience in the security and life safety industry. Michael leads the Project Sales Team, and is Key Account Manager for contractors based in Great Britain, Northern and Southern Ireland.
PPM Team Leader
Paul joined Diamond in 2016 as an experienced Security and Life Safety Systems Engineer. Paul was promoted to PPM Team Leader in 2018 and is responsible for the delivery of routine maintenance contracts, and leads a team of Alarm Inspectors.
Project Team Leader
John joined Diamond in 2005 as an Alarm Inspector and progressed through the roles of Alarm Engineer, Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer and, in 2018, was promoted to Project Team Leader. John is responsible for the delivery of the company’s installation and commissioning projects, as well as the more complex maintenance contracts, and leads a team of Project Engineers.
Kyle joined Diamond in 2008 as an Apprentice Engineer. Following the completion of his NVQ L3 in Security Alarm Systems, Kyle was promoted to Alarm Engineer, followed by a further promotion in 2018 to Project Engineer. As part of the Project Team, Kyle is responsible for the delivery of complex security and life safety projects.
Connor joined Diamond in 2018 and is one of 4 apprentices currently employed by the company. Connor’s role is to assist the engineers with routine and reactive maintenance, along with contributing to the delivery of installation and commissioning projects.
